We believe in offering a personal and highly professional service to our clients and we are passionate about communicating the best advice to you in an honest and open manner (we even say 'NO', or at least 'not yet', some of the time). We pride ourselves on the face to face communication that we offer to our clients and wholly believe that we, 'the people', are what sets us aside from other agencies.

Like any company, Urban Element is only as good as the sum of its parts, so it is no surprise that the team is strong and has a multi-disciplinary mix of talent. We hope that you find us a professional and friendly group of people to work with and that you recognise our passion for our chosen vocation, business and life.

Urban Element, this is your life!

Urban Element was established late in 2003 by Tim Vaines and Malcolm Maclean during one of those, 'yeah let's do it' moments. After 6 months of getting very excited about budget work that took 3 months to deliver, Jon Ellard (being a salesman) told them he could make them rich. The only caveat? He be invited along for the ride. The rest as they say is history. Jon merged his successful marketing company with Urban Element in 2005 and we haven't looked back since.

Our Name - What is an 'Urban Element' or indeed 'what does it mean'? The simple answer to this is there is no direct meaning to it... Before starting the company Malcolm had bought the domain with a view to publishing his personal portfolio. Good to see he has achieved his goal.
