Urban Element have now run a total of 6 free social media seminars to support the launch of their Small Business Website Package, and more dates are now available (dates at the end of this blog).

Seminars are held at the Witney offices of Urban Element and are informal sessions that take delegates through online marketing strategies as well as the use of social media.

Increasing recommendations on LinkedIn

“LinkedIn was nothing more to me than a name before the seminars; I knew it was a Facebook for business but that was the extent of my knowledge.

Since setting up a profile with UE expert advise I have been able to gather several recommendations. It has become a great place for us to point customers to when they say they would like to recommend us. People are really taking the time to recommend us online and you can see that these pages are being visited by others.

Using Twitter for Business

When Jon Ellard suggested I got onto Twitter I did start a personal account to have a play with it, but the seminar really showed me how I could utilise it for business. I have found that I am better known  to my clients and potential clients alike who have seen our brand and have some recognition of who we are.
