Wolsey Hall Oxford - Taking distance learning even further

Wolsey Hall Oxford - Taking distance learning even further Archive

Wolsey Hall was founded as a distance learning college back in 1894. Over the past 115 years more than 750,000 people have gained qualifications with Wolsey Hall and improved their career prospects as a result.

One of their most famous pupils was Nelson Mandela who studied for his London University law degree through Wolsey Hall while locked up in Robben Island jail; an inspiration to distance learning students everywhere.

Since its foundation the college has built up an extraordinary amount of experience and witnessed many changes. Technology has moved on from the Penny Post to the World Wide Web, which is why Wolsey Hall teamed up with Urban Element to help promote their educational services throughout the world.

Urban Element is proud to be associated with such a long-standing institution which has seized upon the practical advantages of delivering distance learning via the Internet.

Over recent months we have worked very closely with Wolsey Hall to support their brand development, providing effective web design and a bespoke content management system while enhancing the search engine optimisation of their site.
