At Urban Element we feel that it is important to use our business to support charities in the community and encourage other local businesses to do the same, which is why we have selected two local charities to work with this year; SpecialEffect and Base 33. We have experienced great success redesigning SpecialEffect’s website and making it mobile responsive and we can’t wait to progress with a less established charity, like Base 33.
Prior to working with Urban Element, Base 33 had very little online presence. Since then, we’ve helped them with social media activity, blogs and advertising materials such as flyers and posters. In the next nine months we will continue to work with Base 33, bringing them a new website and providing them with ongoing online marketing support. At the end of our work with Base 33 we hope that they will feel confident in maintaining our efforts to become a well established and current Witney charity.
Jon, as chairman of Juice Networking Witney has encouraged other local businesses to sponsor Base 33; offering social media support packages as an incentive. Everyman Legal, NatWest, Martin & Co, The M Group and Systems & Solutions have all supported Base 33’s inspirational work in the community and have raised £1,000 through sponsorship.
Tickets for the event cost £10 and are available to purchase from:This month Base 33’s premiere fund raising concert will take place at Witney Congregational church. A group of young people from the charity will take to the stage as ‘Base and Harmony’, alongside the Cotswold Voices Choir and Becki Reed. The event has been organised to help Base 33 reach the £150,000 needed annually to continue their invaluable work in the community.
